About Gary
Gary has been serving as a pastor in the United Methodist Church since the age of 18. His passion for fruitful ministry over the years as pastor, consultant and coach has resulted in revitalizing existing congregations and planting two new churches in Western PA and Florida. Gary is a New Church Strategist for Path1- a national strategy to find, equip and deploy 1,000 church planters and plant 650 new churches by the end of 2012. Path1 in an initiative of the Council of Bishops of the United Methodist Church and the General Board of Discipleship. For more information regarding Path 1 visit www.path1.org.
Gary and his wife Kim (co-author of Imagining Church) live in Orlando Florida. They have two sons, Aaron and Jake.

Hello Gary!
You probably won’t remember me. I used to visit my Grandma’s Lucy Huston and Elva Wolfanger in Austin, Pa,. and attend church with them when you were pastor there, back in the day. I was just reading Congregations, and saw your book with Kim. I will have to pick it up.
I myself an an ordained pastor too, these days, with the UCC, although between churches. I myself am imagining a different way of doing ministry in changing times.
Anyway, it is good to see you are thriving.
